  1. Hypnosis only works if you think it will. It’s really used for achieving goals. Many Psychologists/Psychiatrists don;t believe in it and because they feel it doesn’t work. With that said, if you want to try and see if it works for you, all the more power to you. Good luck.

Hypnosis can only do things with in reasonable limits, and if the person is opened minded and believes it to work.
Hypnosis cannot make you achieve a goal, but it can help to motivate you to achieve that goal.
I have actually had an experience with a hypnotist that came to my college. Where as he did not do any thing long term, he did a short term hypnosis to make me drunk off water (It was interesting to say the least)
I guess hypnosis can only help you as much as you want to. Hypnosis cannot make you do something that you do not want to do, so if you do not want to do your homework, chances are it is not going to make you do your homework. However if you want to be hypnotized to try and concentrate better and perhaps consider homework to be more important, it might aid you in that.

  3. Dear Sleeping Beauty,

I don’t put much merit into hypnosis… some people swear by it but I don’t since all you have to do is pay for a certificate. Anybody can be a hypnotist, I would think it depends on who you get but it isn’t a science. (tick toc tick toc, what the words that I write… you will do well on your nest test… now study for it) You didn’t even have to pay for it because I don’t want to buy a certificate.
